Clean or replace? Living on a busy road, neighbours doing up their houses, replacement of our footpath by the local council, and decorators doing the inside and outside of our listed Regency house, left our blinds looking old and tired. Replacing them would cost £1,200. Having them cleaned was an option, but where would we take them? Now that my wife and I are retired, the thought of removing 12 blinds and then refitting them was pushing us towards new blinds. Time for some Google research to find out about blind cleaning. What are the options? Does it work? Is there a risk of damage? Is their a local company? Then we came across Revitalise Blind Cleaning. Not only would they remove the blinds and take them away for cleaning, they would refit them. And, for less than a third of their replacement cost. And, they were local.
